Poolside Caddy

Everyone has been there, sitting at the side of the beautiful pool, enjoying a cool breeze. While the cool pool water beckons relief from the blazing sun, you are tempted to dive into the water for some swimming fun.

But looking at your personal items like your phone and beverages, you realize that you shouldn’t just leave them sitting by the side of the pool unattended. Since the water looks so good, you don’t see another option.

You conclude that your items will surely be okay by keeping an eye on them while swimming. Some people even proceed to cover their valuables with a towel. Why keep yourself from enjoying a good swim? Luckily, inventors Sarah Yanes and Ralph Yanes have created the Poolside Caddy to allow you to dive into the water without worrying about someone or a pet running off your valuables.

What is the Poolside Caddy?

The Poolside Caddy is an invention that gives you access to personal items such as phones, keys, and beverages while enjoying your day by the pool. It was created by inventors Sarah and Ralph Yanes of Homestead, FL, after they installed an inground pool in their backyard. Before inventing the gadget, they would keep their cell phones on them and a drink nearby while in the swimming pool with their families.

However, a costly disaster could be in waiting if these items could get splashed, knocked over when a dog runs by, or fall into the water. This inspired them to develop the Poolside Caddy to keep phones and beverages safe by the poolside. You don’t have to get out of the pool to answer calls, text friends back, or change the music on your Bluetooth speakers because you left your phone by the stairs.

Features and Benefits

The Poolside Caddy is all about convenience and the safety of your personal items while in the pool. It is a must-have new pool accessory that keeps your items or drinks conveniently within reach while enjoying a day in the pool. You don’t need to get out of the water to get a drink or access your phone. Your items stay safe and dry.

This invention by Inventors Sarah and Ralph Yanes features a form-fitting and hollow plastic base and a hard rubber bottom for easy nestling against the pool’s edge.

To use the Poolside Caddy, you must ensure the drain plug on top is opened and the hollow base is filled with sand or water, giving the caddy weight and stability to sit by itself. Then, nestle it against the pool’s ledge and let it hang over the edge. The weight at the bottom of the caddy keeps it in place to store your items safely inside and keep your drink from spilling.

Lastly, the Poolside Caddy is fully-engineered with a prototype available.
